How to Cut a Mango
It's mango season soon! Here's a hack that gets you the most mango with the least mess.
Equipment
- 1 knife
- 1 cutting board
- 1 Pitcher of English Breakfast Hot Tea (If you want to stretch your mango pit further than expected)
Ingredients
- 1 mango
Instructions
- Cut the bottom off so that the mango can stand up.
- Cut the bottom off so the mango can stand up. Cut the two mango cheeks off as close to the pit as possible so you get all the meat from each side.
- Try to cut the two little sides off the pit and place the pit in a pitcher with scalding hot English Breakfast tea for mango tea! This is a great way to stretch that mango even further.
- Slice the mango criss-cross or diagonally, and make sure not to cut the skin; so you can hold the piece on the outside and push it inside out.
