Adventure Greater Boston this Summer

Are you located in the heart of Boston? Well here are some summer adventures from a local that most people don’t know about that I just had to bring to light.

Yirrell Beach & Deer Island

Located in Winthrop, you can drive to this beach as an alternative to Revere beach. Parking can be hard to come by but it’s worth seeking out and spending some time on this beach.

Driving Range at Granite Links

The view of the city of Boston is amazing from this Quincy public golf course. I have to say this is a perfect date night activity. The cocktails are elevated and the vibe is immaculate.

Southie D Street Beach

Another city beach that can be relaxing on a hot day.

Learn to Sail on Charles River

For about $100 you can get access to this sailing club and receive sailing lessons. You just have to challenge yourself to follow through and take the exams so that you can access the sail boats.

Singing Beach

Okay, if you’re looking for a really quality beach that is close-ish in proximity to Boston, definitely go to singing in Manchester-By-The-Sea. It’s just gorgeous and the sand really does sing as you drag your feet through the sand.

View Boston

MeetBoston is the tourism branch for the city of Boston and they’ve created a beautiful experience at the top of the prudential center. While it’s kind of expensive at 27 a trip to the top, I think think it’s worth the view. This can be a beautiful and memorable experience. If you like to drink, there’s a bar up top as well.

Ferry to Cape Cod

While I still haven’t done this, this summer I am on a mission to take a somewhat expensive ferry to Provincetown and frolic around the city.

Nantasket Beach

By far my favorite beach this summer. While it’s a bit of a drive from Boston, nothing compares to the sunset at this beach in July. The shallow waters roll in at a warm temperature, making this a swim worthy beach. Walk the shores at sunset and go for a drink at one of the local bars with live music.
